Gender Odyssey is a national conference for masculine-identified people who were assigned female gender at birth. This year’s conference will have some exciting new programming and special events for you. For those of you who attended last year’s conference and gave us your positive and constructive feedback, we are excited to bring back the stuff you loved as well as develop the ideas you’ve suggested. Saturday, June 3 2006- The Transgender Umbrella: Clinical Skills for Empowering Transgender and Gender Queer Clients.

The conference will begin with a moderated conversation with the presenters about Gender Identity implications for clinicians. Held on Arizona State University 's Polytechnic Campus in Mesa , Arizona , this all day conference will bring together the experiences and expertise of a variety of clinicians in providing empowering therapy to transgender and gender queer clients in individual, group, couples, and family treatment modalities
